New Classes:

Starting on February 28th we have some new & exciting classes:

1) Ladies' Styling & Following Bootcamp - Mondays @ 7:30PM @ Club Cubano

2) Advanced Ladies' Styling Performance Course - Mondays @ 7:30PM @ Club Cubano

3) Ladies' Reggaeton Performance Course - Tuesdays @ 8:30PM @ Starlight Fit

4) Men's Footwork & Stepping Performance Course -  Tuesdays @ 8:30PM @  Starlight Fit

5) Turn Pattern/Partner Work Performance Course - Thursdays @ 7:30PM @ Club Cubano

Here's a brief description of each course:

1) Ladies' Styling & Following Bootcamp:

If you want to learn more styling, get comfortable with when and how to style, look sexier on the dance-floor, and/or want to progress into advanced ladies' styling eventually, then this is the building block you need!! This class is rarely offered so you must take advantage of this rare and special class! it is a must for all intermediate and above ladies that are ready to take their styling to the next level. This course will also cover following techniques and tips to become a smoother follower so you can then direct your attention to styling.

What many female dancers may not know is that in order to be a great stylist ONE NEEDS TO BE A GREAT FOLLOWER FIRST! The two go hand in hand, and it makes perfect sense that if you are still thinking about
following and not doing that effortlessly and instinctively then you cannot be thinking about additional things like styling your arms, legs, and body. This course will help you transition and teach you tips to be a better follower as well as the fundamentals that all styling is built on, so you can start styling right away!

You will see a huge improvement in your dancing as you learn all those great styling moves the advanced ladies do all the time. So whether your goal is to become a better stylist, to look better social dancing, to learn more styling in order to advance into performing, to join our advanced styling class..or maybe you want all of those things....for any of those reasons or for all of them this class is what you need!

2) Advanced Ladies' Styling Performance Course:

Calling all ladies!! It's time to dance with more sizzle and spice- it's time to step out of the cold and heat things up! Our ladies' styling class, AKA "La Bomba Girls", is starting up again as it's time for our 2011 Spring routine! If you are already a Bomba Girl then you know these courses are a MUST!

This cycle will be all about sexy Salsa with the expected musicality and unique choreography that Christina is known for. If you are are an intermediate and above dancer but have not done our Ladies' Styling Course in the past then we recommend our Bootcamp Ladies' Styling Course first, to prepare you for this course in the future.

Advanced Ladies' Styling will take you to another level by exposing you to much more than what you can get at partner work group classes. This course will teach you more footwork, arm styling, body movement,
dance technique, and confidence then you ever thought possible. The numbers are always show-stopping, sassy, and sexy, and as always this one will raise the bar yet again! You will have the opportunity to
perform it at our Spring Showcase and also AT THE NJ SALSA CONGRESS! So get out of the cold and get ready to drop a bomb on the snow because "La Bomba Girls" are back!

3) Ladies' Reggaeton Performance Course:

You asked for it, we are offering it...BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND - BECKY'S REGGAETON CLASS!! This popular course has not been offered in years so don't miss out. If you want to learn some amazing hip-hop steps with a Latin feel, move your body in ways you didn't know you could, try something new, and have the time of your life....then you must join this class!

Becky, one of our senior Pro-Team performers, is an all-around dancer with training in several dance genres....but what many don't know is she has a true passion for Hip-Hop! Hip-Hop dancing requires power, energy, and sharp isolations, all skills that would make any dancer better. Her past Reggaeton choreographies were always favorites at our showcases, and many of our ladies have been begging for another routine, so here it is!!

For all Intermediate and above dancers, this course teaches a choreography to hot and sexy Reggaeton songs and will make you feel like you are ready to step into an MTV video! The steps and techniques taught in this class will help you improve your body movement, isolations, and control. Get ready for a challenge and get ready to sweat because we are going to make you move!!

4) Men's Footwork & Stepping Course:

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND - ARIEL IS BACK!! Any male dancer that has taken a class with Ariel knows how fun and challenging it is, and we are bringing him back to you with a course not to be missed - a mix of
Footwork and STEPPING! Ariel is a member of Lambda Upsilon Lambda, a fraternity that has won National Stepping Championships and have acquired a reputation for their amazing step routines.

Many of you have seen how amazing Ariel's stepping skills are, and many have asked us if he can teach it. So here it is! This class is for Intermediate and above male dancers looking to hone their footwork skills. Ariel's intricate, musical, and fast Salsa shines will challenge you, and learning to step will shoot your skills to a whole other level by making you more controlled, precise, and sharp. Stepping takes superb timing and precision, skills that can help any dancer. This is a unique course that will not be offered again anytime
soon so don't miss out!

5) Turn Pattern/Partner Work Performance Course:

It's that time of year...time for Spring Showcase training, so it's time to utilize all the amazing patterns you have been learning to lead/follow in group class and now take it up a notch! Time to challenge yourself with the Turn Pattern choreography! For all Intermediate and above dancers, this class will teach more intricate turn patterns while also adding a new element: musicality. By learning a routine to music you will have the opportunity to perfect the moves (because they are repeated and rehearsed each week) and you will improve your musicality and ear for music since the steps are choreographed to accent the hits and breaks in the selected song. You will also learn more styling, dips, and footwork to add to your repertoire. You will have the option to perform this choreography at our Spring Showcase and show off all your learned! Please note: you do not need a partner for this course because we match up all those that join on their own, but of course it is preferable and much easier if you already come with a partner.It is highly encouraged that you come matched up. So grab your favorite dancer and sign up today!
